Admission Process Alert: Aptitude Test Now Mandatory for Architecture Courses!

Posted: 1 year ago

The Council of Architecture (CoA) has made significant amendments to the admission process for architecture courses. In light of the gazette publication on July 19, 2023, all aspirants will now need to qualify for an aptitude test in order to be admitted to an architecture programme.

The aptitude test can be conducted by either the National Testing Agency (NTA) or the CoA. The NTA conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, which is a nationwide test for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes. The CoA conducts the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), which is a specific test for admission to architecture programmes.
