M S Ramaiah Medical College (RMC) is a private university established in the year 1979. The college is run by the Gokula Education Foundation and Dr. M R Jayaram is the Chairman of Ramaiah Group of Institutions. The Medical College was established with the vision of providing quality education to all. The College is a constituent unit of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) a state private university recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). RMC is well-equipped with the latest infrastructure, technology-enabled classrooms and advanced laboratories, and continually focuses on teaching, clinical practice, and research.

Accredited by NAAC MS Ramaiah Medical College is internationally accredited with many esteemed awards and recognitions such as, WHO, General Medical Council U.K. (GMC), Irish Medical Council, Malaysian Medical Council, Srilankan Medical Council and all the councils in Middle East, as well.
