MSc Life Science (Master of Science in Life Science)
Life Science is an interdisciplinary subject that includes concepts of zoology, biotechnology, and botany. The course curriculum includes theoretical and practical modules applied from molecular and cellular levels to molecular and physiological levels. It is the study of the origin, growth, life processes, reproduction, and behavior in plants, animals, human beings, bacteria, fungi, algae, and virus. Topics included are biodynamics, zoology, neuroinformatics, molecular biology, tissue engineering, evolutionary genetics, developmental biology, and cognitive neuroscience. A spirit if inquisitiveness and curiosity is initiated within the candidates together with multiple skills. Skills like analytical reasoning, critical and logical thinking, decision-making, and presentation are enhanced through various laboratory experiments, assignments, seminars, journal club activities, and special guest lectures included in this course.
