MSc Human Development (Master Science in Human Development)
The Human Development curriculum focuses on theories and concepts that help to develop and advance human standard of living based on leading a long and healthy life, gaining knowledge, and decent standard of living. It covers subjects related to biology, humanity, sociology, culture, rights, empowerment, and psychology which directly or indirectly affect the growth, progress, and standard of the economy. Topics included are histories and theories of development, childhood care, education, society, parenting, human rights, disabilities and illness, disorders, development psychology, psychotherapy, and guidance and counseling. Candidates will have diverse knowledge about the characteristics and applications of theoretical concepts to bring about practical results after successful completion of the course. Skills like analytical reasoning, research, planning, and decision-making are enhanced through various seminars, lectures, and workshops included in this course.
