As a prosthetist one is responsible to design and create prostheses which match closely as possible the missing limb.

Salary and Emoluments: 10 lakhs to 20 lakhs per annum 

Orthotists: Orthotists provide a range of splints, braces and special footwear for the patients with skeletal deformations. As an Orthotists one has to aid movement, correct deformity and relieve discomfort for the patients. 

Salary Emoluments: 10 lakhs to 15 lakhs

Podiatrists: Podiatrists are responsible for making a difference in the lives of many people suffering from different skeletal problems. As a podiatrist one is responsible to diagnose and treat the abnormalities and offer professional advice on care of feet and legs and prevent foot problems. They help children with lower limb pain or problems with walking to overcome them. They help the people with sports injuries and dancers who are prone to physical injury due to long hours of rehearsing and performing. They also help the people with diabetes who suffer circulation problems and may be at risk of amputation.

Orthopaedic Surgeons: Orthopaedic Surgeons are responsible to perform surgeries related to the human skeletal system. They are required to perform operations and implant plates to the damaged parts of the bones and tissues of patients. They fix plates, fixers, operate knee joints and ensure that the patients are treated for fractures.
