The Renal Dialysis Technology course includes modules that equip and prepare candidates to administer haemodialysis treatments to patients with renal complications and failure under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Candidates are experienced with a basic understanding of kidney anatomy and physiology, the dialysis setup and process, patient preparation and monitoring, dialysis maintenance, machine cleaning and sterilization, safety and sanitation, professional standards and ethics, quality control and documentation. The candidates are trained to record patient information and measure vital signs. They are prepared, trained and updated with knowledge about the latest safety precautions and troubleshooting methods. Candidates are also trained in multiple medical evaluation procedures and updated with the latest protocols and modules.
