Eligibility for BHM course
The students who have completed their PUC or 10+2 in any stream from recognised board are eligible to apply for Bachelor of Hospitality Management (BHM) course.

The eligible students can take admission to BHM course by two modes of admission, the first one is merit-based admission and second one is direct admission. Let’s discuss them in detail
1. Merit Admission
There are many reputed colleges that conduct entrance exams for admission to BHM course, such mode of admission is called merit-admission process. All the colleges have merit-seats and these seats are given to deserving students based on the institution-based entrance exam. The qualified students are allotted merit seats and given admission under merit quota. The main reason to conduct institution-based entrance exams is to select the right candidates from the group of non-serious candidates. The fees are nominal for merit seats.
2. Direct Admission
The eligible students can also take admission to BHM course by another mode of admission called direct admission. Under this mode the students are given direct admission in their desired colleges under management quota. The main benefit of this mode of admission is that the students are given special privileges, where they are not required to appear for any entrance exams for getting admission.
