Bachelor Of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) fees structure

The MBBS course is a 3 years full-time course. You are required to attend the lectures that are to be held on the campus. You cannot opt for a part-time MBBS course, as there is none. The intake capacity for this course is 150 seats per course. The total fee for this course is Rs. 547,000. If you are to breakdown the fee structure and see it on a year to year basis, then it will be something like this –

For the first year, you are supposed to pay a fee of Rs. 109,800. From the second year on, you are required to pay a fee of Rs. 109,300. This fee includes the tuition fee which is Rs. 97350 and the other fees which are Rs.12450. This how you arrive at the total amount of Rs.5.47 lakh.

Eligibility criteria

Now that the fees structure has been explained to you in detail, you should look at the eligibility criteria to make sure that you fulfill all the criteria in order to take admission to the MBBS course and be well on your journey in the medical field.

The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences has not allowed for any relaxation when it comes to marks, for the scheduled caste. So if you belong to the scheduled caste or the other backward classes, you are in no way lucky. The eligibility criteria are the same for everyone, that is, you need to secure 50% marks in the P.U.C examination or an equivalent 10+2 examination that is approved by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. You need to pass the examination with Physics, biology, and chemistry as your subjects. In addition to that, you may need to appear for NEET and achieve a high score in order to be eligible. The college also accepts scores from other competitive exams like CET, COMEDK, AMPCK, and AIET.
