SOF GIRL CHILD SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME - Educational Foundation

SOF GCSS seeks to give financial aid to girls from low-income families so that they can continue their education.

Eligibility

• A recommendation from a school suggesting a girl child for GCSS consideration may be sent.
• Only one girl child may be recommended by each school.
• Only the school principal, headmaster, or headMistress should sign the recommendation.
• The nominated girl must attend the suggested school in India from class 1 to 10.
• She should have received a 60 percent on the prior exam. 

NOTE: The total monthly income of both parents of the child should be less than INR 15000.

Benefits & Dates

• Under the GCSS, 300 meritorious female children from around the country will be chosen.
• The GCSS youngsters will be chosen based on a recommendation from the school. 
• Each chosen girl will receive a stipend of INR 5000 to help her continue her study. 
• After February 28, 2022, the amount of GCSS will be releced. 

NOTE: A cheque for the amount will be sent to the nominated student's school address in her name.
