The goal of this programme is to provide Sports Scholarships to promising young athletes in order to improve AAI's sports standards while also encouraging young potential.
Eligibility
- The scholarship will be accessible to athletes between the ages of 14 and 24 as of February 31, 2022.

Conditions For Award Of Scholarships
- The sports scholarship participant will be ineligible to receive any other scholarship, financial assistance, or stipend for sporting activities from any other source.
- The Airports Authority of India is under no obligation to engage the Airports Authority of India Sports Scholars.
- He/she will continue to strive at both his/her schoolwork and the game in concern, improving his/her performance in both.
- He/she shall present documents attesting that he/she is a genuine student, officially certified by the head/principal of the educational establishment where he/she is enrolled, or the pertinent authorised State/National Sports Federation.
- He/she must make himself/herself accessible for any practise, camp, or competition that AAI may need.
- Throughout the scholarship time, he/she will not engage in any behaviour that may bring shame to AAI, and that he/she will not engage in any activity that is contrary to the law of the nation.He/she will also follow AAISCB's rules and regulations/stipulations as they are issued from time to time.
- He/she will not represent any club, institution, or association other than the educational institutions where he/she is enrolled without first seeking AAI consent.
- The AAI reserves the right to terminate the scholarship at any moment and without giving any explanation.
- He or she must receive his or her parent's or guardian's written consent, which must be attested by a Gazetted official.
- If he or she takes a scholarship position at another university.
- If he/she takes any scholarship job from another university, AAI's scholarship shall instantly terminate.
- Along with certified copies of the sports scholar's status, the application will be routed through and approved by suitable authority/institution (such as the Head/Principal of Institution/School, Secretary of the State Federation/National Federation of the concerned sport).
- AAI reserves the right to refuse to choose athletes for any or all games if they are deemed unsuitable.
Conditions For Award Of Scholarship Scheme For Wards
- A sportsperson can only receive the AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme for Ward a maximum of five times. After using the Ward category advantage five times, sportspersons in the Ward category may apply for the Scholarship Scheme from outside quota.
- Ward has a quota of 20 under the Sports Scholarship Scheme.
Selection
All proposals filed before the deadline will be evaluated by a committee appointed by the President of the Airports Authority of India Sports Control Board. Cases of outstanding athletes who are not students may be considered for scholarship awards provided they satisfy all of the conditions and are verified/certified by the Secretary of the applicable State Federation/National Federation. Cases of exceptional merit not covered by the aforementioned criteria may be evaluated with the Chairman's consent.
