The Council for the Indian School Certification Exams (CISCE) announced on October 19th Tuesday that the 1st Semester exams of Class 10th and Class 12th of ICSE and ISC exams are postponed for the academic year 2021-22.

The CISCE circular stated that it was forced to come to this decision, due to the situations that occurred which were beyond the control of the board. The board further had no choice rather than postponing the exams.

The CISCE had divided the board exams into two semesters, similar to the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) and other state boards due to pandemic situations. The CISCE board had further decided to conduct the first semester exams online and second semester exams to be conducted either online or offline mode, depending on the COVID-19 situation in the country.

The board further assured all the stakeholders that the revised schedule of the ICSE and ISC exams will be announced shortly.
