What course is better ANM or GNM?
Both ANM and GNM are completely different courses and cannot be compared.
ANM stands for Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery. It is a one-year Diploma course that is done after Class 10 (or equivalent), which focuses on the study of healthcare of various individuals.
GNM is General Nursing and Midwifery. It is a 3-year Diploma course that is done after Class 10+2 (or equivalent), which focuses on more exposure in healthcare or Nursing.
Can I do MBBS after GNM Nursing?
No, the eligibility for MBBS course is passing with 50% aggregate in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. Qualification in NEET-UG is also mandatory.
If a GNM candidate wants to do MBBS, they have to join on the basis of Class 12 and not on the basis of GNM performance.

Both GNM and BSc Nursing are Nursing courses. The difference between both courses is in the duration, fee structure, and job opportunities.
The GNM course is a Diploma course for the students who have not studied Science in their 12th/PUC. It will take only 3.5 years to complete compared to 4 years for BSc Nursing.
