Offline Verification Process for Medical Courses: KEA's Schedule

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for the verification of original documents for Medical/Dental/Ayurveda/Unani/Naturopathy courses. If candidates have already completed document verification as per CET-2006 Admission Rules and are not claiming additional reservations, they are not required to appear again.

For Karnataka candidates who have modified their reservation claims, document verification is mandatory. Additionally, if a candidate is eligible for any special reservation (such as Government norms, Linguistic Minority, Religious Minority, NRI ward seats, or Category-2 to Category-8 in St. John Medical College, Bangalore), they must claim it online and attend the document verification process.

Freshly registered Karnataka candidates should also appear for verification with all the relevant original certificates.

As for Non-Karnataka candidates registered with KEA, they need not appear for document verification, except those eligible for specific reservations. It's important to note that Non-Karnataka candidates must have scored above the required minimum 50th percentile for the 'GENERAL (UR)' category to be eligible.
