CBSE Board Releases Term 1 Exam Data Sheet for 2021

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on October 18th released the date sheets for Class 10th  and 12th  Term-1 Board exams 2021-22. 

The CBSE will conduct the first-term board examinations for Classes 10th and Class 12th in the offline in November-December 2021. The CBSE will conduct 2 term exams for the academic year 2021-22. The Term 1 exams will be conducted in November-December 2021 and Term 2 exams will be conducted in March-April 2022. 

The CBSE board stated that the number of registered candidates has increased by nearly 4 lakhs this year when compared to previous years. Nearly around 22 lakhs candidates are expected to take the OMR-based MCQ Term 1 exam of the Class 10th and around 14 lakhs students for the Term 1 exam of the Class 12th.

The CBSE board further stated that the exams for all the minor subjects will begin from November 16th (Class 10th) and November 17th (Class 12th) respectively. The exams for the minor subjects will begin on November 16th 2021, while the major subjects will start on November 30th, 2021. The timetable of the same will be sent to the respective schools accordingly.

The Board has increased the number of exam centres from 7,000 to 14,000 to ensure that the students can appear for the exams in the nearest exam centre or in their own schools in case of non-availability of the nearest entrance exam centres. The board further stated that every exam centre will be monitored by CBSE observers using cutting edge surveillance technologies.

The CBSE Board has also made special provisions for students with disabilities like separate seating arrangements, wheelchair friendly access, separate rooms with special provisions will be provided to such candidates.

The CBSE board further stated the final results of the Class 10th and Class 12th will be announced after the completion of the Term 2 Exam.
