British University to Come Up with a Campus in Bangalore

In the major move for Karnataka Education, one of the British Universities has expressed interest in setting up a campus in Bangalore. The Higher Education Minister, Dr. C.N Ashwathnarayan stated that one of the top British Universities is eager to set up a campus in Bangalore. He stated that more details about the University will be announced shortly.

The decision was taken during the discussions with the UK Universities delegation and Higher Education Ministry Karnataka. The minister further added that one of the major British educational institutions and research centres in the state is in conjunction with the British University.

The minister further added that an agreement will be signed between the Manipal Academy of Higher Education and the University of Nottingham's Trend University in the UK between the International Skill Development Corporation and John Moores University in Liverpool. This will be the first step in the process of setting up the UK University Campus in Bangalore.
