The postgraduate course focuses on the technical and practical aspects of evolution, animal behavior, animal classification, theories about the animal kingdom, and the interaction of animals with the environment. It is an interdisciplinary subject involving Chemistry and Biology. It covers topics related to biosystematics, structure and functions of invertebrates, tools and techniques in biology, animal physiology and ethology, physiology, genetics and evolution, structure and function of vertebrates, and environmental biology.
