Eligibility Criteria for MD at Rajarajeswari Medical College
Minimum 50% aggregate in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a University recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) for General Category.
Minimum 45% aggregate in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a University recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) for candidates under PWD Category.
Minimum 40% aggregate in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a University recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) for candidates under SC/ST/OBC Category.
The candidate should have satisfactorily completed the compulsory Rotating Internship of one year in an institution recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).
The candidate should have obtained permanent registration of any State Medical Council.
The candidate should have qualified in NEET-PG Entrance Exam
There is a relaxation of 5% for candidates of Reserved Category.
Minimum 50% aggregate in All India PG Medical Entrance Exam (AIPGMEE)/PG Entrance Test (PGET)/Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority (KRLM).
Minimum 40% aggregate in All India PG Medical Entrance Exam (AIPGMEE)/PG Entrance Test (PGET)/Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority (KRLM) for Reserved Category.
For candidates who have completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from outside Karnataka, Migration Certificate and the Eligibility Certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences are required at the time of admission.
For candidates of minority status, certificate from appropriate authorities is mandatory.
