What is the NEET MDS Exam?
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test or NEET is a common entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admissions to Medical/Dental/AYUSH courses. It is the sole governing body for all the admissions to seats available in Medical, Dental, AYUSH colleges in India.
The NEET MDS exam is conducted for admission in various post graduate dental courses like MDS and Post Graduate in Dental Sciences in the reputed dental colleges across India.
National Board of Exams (NBE)

The National Board of Exams (NBE) is an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation under the Ministry of Human Resource Department (MHRD), Government of India (GOI).

The NBE is the government organisation established by the Societies Registration Act (1860) and has been entrusted by the Ministry of Education with the task of conducting the NEET-MDS Exam.

Eligibility

The students should have passed their BDS degree with 50% (General) aggregate and 45% (OBC/SC/ST) from recognised university are eligible to apply for NEET-MDS exam

The students should have completed a minimum of 20 years of age as on 31st December of the year of which admission is sought
Exam Format and Syllabus
The NEET MDS exam is conducted through Computer-based test (Online) mode at specified exam centres. The NEET MDS exam is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based and consists of 240 questions and is of total 960 marks. The exam paper is divided into 2 different parts (Part A and Part B).
The duration of the NEET MDS exam is 3 Hours or 180 minutes and there will be Negative Marking for the wrong answers.
