- MS- MS (Master of Surgery) is the full form. MS is a postgraduate study in surgery. Applicants with a Bachelor of Medicine degree may be eligible for this postgraduate degree. - PG Medical Diploma - The Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education course is specially developed for MBBS doctors. The PG Diploma course gives in-depth information about medical science topics. - Masters in Public Health - Master of Public Health (MPH) is a 2-year full time post graduate degree that is divided into 4-semesters. How to Apply for NEET - UG?
Candidates can apply for NEET - UG by logging on to www.ntaneet.nic.in.
After the first year of course an internship is a must for full time students, and a dissertation or major project is a degree requirement after the completion of course work. A comprehensive exit - examination, either a common test for many institutions or in-house tests conducted by institutions, is an integral part of MBA/PGDM/PG program.
The 4 important steps in online application are:- Note down the application number after filling the application form
- Upload photo and signature in prescribed format and size
- Remit fee in prescribed modes
- On successful remittance of fee, generate/print the confirmation page
The candidates are advised to give only his/her own or parent’s mobile number while filling the application form. The OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number only. And all other information and communication will be done by NTA through the registered mobile number and e-mail ID. Only one application can be filled in with one mobile number and e-mail ID. A candidate can submit only one application form. The candidates who submit more than one application will be disqualified.
The application submission and correction of entries can be done only through the online option. Application form and fee can be submitted normally from November 1 to November 30, up to 23.50 hours (IST) on the 30th. The online correction of application can be done from January 14 to January 31. The candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature along with the online application form. The scanned image of photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format and between 10kb and 200kb for photograph and 4kb and 30 kb for signature.
The Admit Card, Result, Mark cum Rank Sheet and Rank Letter can be downloaded from the NTA website. The relevant dates and other information will be notified by NTA in its website only. So visit the NEET - UG website of NTA as and when required. These documents are also available at www.digilocker.gov.in -
What are the Eligibility criteria to apply for NEET - UG?
Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 exam can apply for the NEET examination. A student, who is appearing for the 12 th final examination, may also apply but should pass the exam with minimum 50% marks at the time of first round of counselling.
Mark Criterion of NEET -UG
- For Unreserved (UR) category 50% marks at 10+2 exam
- For SC/ST/OBC non creamy layer 40% marks at 10+2 exam
- For Persons with Disability (PwD) 45% marks at 10+2 exam
In the 2 years of 10+2 the candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio- technology, including practical tests in these subjects, and English.
Age Criterion for applying to NEET (UG)
- Minimum age is 17
- There is no maximum age restriction to appear for the exam.

How much is the Application Fee for NEET - UG?
For unreserved (UR) and OBC (NCL) categories the fee is Rs. 1400/- and for Reserved categories, SC/ST/PwD/Transgender, the fee is Rs. 750/-. The fee can be remitted by credit card/debit card, net banking, UPI, or e Chelan from State Bank of India.

Can NRIs apply for NEET - UG?
Yes NRIs can apply for NEET. The admission of Non Resident Indians to Medical Colleges in India and abroad is strictly on NEET qualification. The NRI candidates are eligible for 15% All India Quota seats as well. The fee structure and reservation of NRI candidates are similar to Citizens of India. The admission decision of NRIs, Overseas Citizens of India, Persons of Indian Origin and Foreign Nationals is subject to rules and regulations framed by the respective State Governments, Institutions and Government of India.

Yes you can apply for NEET any number of times to try for better courses in medicine. There is no restriction on the number of attempts by the candidates.
